August's Crazy Quilt
A body of work created for Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, NE. August's Crazy Quilt incorporates quilt-like forms to contain microscopic details of cells, hidden insects and plants of Nebraska. This work uses the template of a Nebraskan crazy quilt from the collection at the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, NE in order to explore our relationship to place and the environment.
